Dear La Maison du Dodo families,
We’re delighted to share our freshly updated Parent Handbook for the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you’re joining our community for the very first time or returning for another wonderful year, this handbook is your complete guide to everyday life at our school — from morning drop-off routines to our French Immersion and Montessori programs, health policies, celebrations, and everything in between.
At La Maison du Dodo, we believe every child is competent, capable, curious, and rich in potential. Our handbook reflects that belief on every page, and reading it together is the first step in the strong home–school partnership that makes our community so special.
What’s Inside the Handbook
🕢 Hours & Programs
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with Toddler & Casa full-time programs (18 months – 6 years) and Preschool part-time options (3 – 6 years), including Extended Care.
🇫🇷 Our Curriculum
Discover how our French Immersion and Montessori-inspired approach nurtures independence, bilingualism, and a lifelong love of learning through play-based, hands-on experiences.
🍎 Food & Nutrition
Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are freshly prepared daily by our in-house chef — whole foods first, and our environment is proudly peanut-free.

Real-time updates, daily insights, and easy two-way messaging with your child’s teachers through our Lilio App, plus conferences, observations, and community meetings.

- Dec 18 – Jan 4Winter break (dismissal at 12:30 PM on Dec 18)
- Feb 5, 2027Curriculum night — Sensorial & Language
- May 20, 2027Curriculum night — Mathematics & Culture
- Jul 30, 2027Last day of school — dismissal at 12:30 PM
- Aug 3–20, 2027Summer camp

Before the First Day of School
To help everyone enjoy a smooth start in September, please make sure the following are complete before your child’s first day:
✏️ Completed enrolment forms and signed contract · 💉 Updated immunization records · 👕 A labelled set of seasonal spare clothes for the cubby · 🧸 A labelled blanket for rest time · ✅ The signed Parent Handbook signature page (found on the last page of the handbook)
